What EVERY skin cancer patient needs… ASAP!
Here’s a fact-check for the clueless, sun-hating “experts” of the mainstream: the deadliest form of skin cancer has zip to do with the sun.
The proof is in the numbers!
Two of the top three states for melanoma are here in New England, where Vermont has a higher rate of the disease than Florida, Texas or Arizona!
I’m sitting right now about 80 miles from the Vermont border, and I can tell you one thing for sure: You can’t sunburn out here if you TRIED for about half the year.
Heck, we can go the entire month of February without even SEEING the darned sun.
The reason is simple, even if they don’t want to talk about it: the less sun you get, the lower your levels of vitamin D…
The vitamin that helps protect you from a number of cancers—including melanoma—instead of causing it!
And if you already have melanoma, this essential can do something else, too.
It can help SAVE YOUR LIFE by making treatment more effective!
How D can save your skin
The mainstream is STUNNED by a supposedly cutting-edge new study that shows how vitamin D3 can help destroy this devastating form of cancer.
This is old hat to me!
It’s a key weapon in my own cancer-prevention and cancer-fighting arsenal, in part because of how it helps regulate apoptosis.
That’s the natural process that determines how long cells live… and when they die.
Cancer cells circumvent the process, but D can force them back into that natural cycle, and the new study shows how it works in melanoma.
They found that some of the ugly little cancer cells behind those telltale dark moles can have what’s called a VDR, or vitamin D receptor. This allows the nutrient to hop onto the cell, crawl inside… then destroy it from within.
In experiments on mice, when D levels were raised around cells with these receptors, the growth of the cancer slowed and became much less likely to spread to the lungs.
Experiments on melanoma cells taken from human cancers found much the same thing – while cells that lacked this VDR were more likely to grow and spread.
Now, this doesn’t mean D is going to cure anyone’s cancer…
But it could turn out to be a powerful weapon in the battle against this disease – and the researchers believe it could be especially effective when combined with immunotherapy.
These up-and-coming treatments power up your immune system so it can fight off the disease, and often work better than traditional drugs.
Adding D the mix could make it even better.
Meanwhile, even if you don’t have melanoma… raising your D levels is one of the cheapest, safest and most effective ways to slash your risk of multiple forms of cancer.
I typically suggest 2,000 to 5,000 IUs of D3 daily, along with 50-100 mcgs of vitamin K2, which allows your body to make proper use of that D.
