Easy trick cuts your stress by 30 PERCENT!
It’s the time of year when the cold, gray days make you just want to hide inside… and not come out when winter’s over, just like a bear in a cave.
And when you deal with the daily stress that just seems to mount… bills… doctors’ appointments… family…
Well, sleep is all you want!
But I have some GREAT news…
Believe it or not, you might just have a new excuse to hibernate this winter after all.
You DON’T snooze, you lose
You see, sleep is the BEST thing you can do for your stress.
Because a new study shows that sleep makes your stress levels plummet by 30 PERCENT!
The catch is, it’s not just regular sleep. I’m talking about DEEP sleep. The exact kind of sleep that feels like you won’t wake till the first thaw.
In a study out of the scientific journal Nature Human Behavior, researchers discovered that if you DON’T get enough sleep your stress levels rise.
But the answer is IN the problem.
Because if you get enough sleep, your stress levels DROP… drastically.
Here’s how they figured it out:
Researchers took a look at the brains of 18 young adults to see just what was happening when they weren’t getting good sleep due to stress.
And they saw something pretty astounding.
The medial prefrontal cortex, a part of the brain that controls how we react to stress, completely shut down.
Meaning these participants had no control over their stress anymore!
All because of a bad night’s sleep.
But when they scanned their brains after a full night’s sleep, their stress levels dropped because the medial prefrontal cortex’s powers were RESTORED.
So how can YOU snore away your stress?
It’s pretty simple: try taking the electronics out of your bedroom.
In other words, create your own cave… a dark, cozy place that’ll have you snoozing in no time.
And if that doesn’t work, try a nice cup of tea. I recommend Sleepytime Extra tea. It won’t just help you get ready to drift off, it’ll melt your worries away.
Just remember, unlike a drug, it won’t send you into a slumber right away (nor will it expose you to nasty side effects!). Instead, make it a routine for a few weeks and you’ll start to see a big difference.
